How do I track InKind donations?

In kind donations are donated goods and services, rather than cash donations.

• Create a Donation Type of "InKind"(watch the video on creating drop-down options)
  
• For $20 in donated goods, some organizations will enter $20 in the Amount field, and the description in the Comments field. Remember when running reports to exclude "InKind"
  
• Some organizations will enter $0 in the Amount field and enter $20 along with the description of donated goods in the Comments field
• Some organizations will create a User-Defined field for "InKind Value" to track the value entirely separate.
